  WHY CHOOSE "SAKEM"

With SAKEM, your feet can breathe!

The foot, as any other part of the body, sweats when it is in contact with materials and structures that do not allow it to breathe. The lamellae of SAKEM arch supports keep the foot elevated prevent sweat by allowing air to circulate under the foot as you walk. With this same principle, the arch supports help prevent calluses and corns. Last, but not least, the improved circulation of the blood helps speed up the substitution of dead cells so that the foot is rejuvenated and fresh: without dead skin, calluses, corns, warts and other blemishes.

Various levels of softness for a massage that is appropriate for each zone of the foot.

SAKEM footwear is divided into two groups:

  • Footwear with a rigid sole (i.e. clogs)
  • Footwear with a flexible sole (i.e. sandals in cork, leather or rubber)

Which is the SAKEM for you?

This is a choice that is very personal as each individual has different needs.

We can point out the different characteristics to allow you to choose the right model for your foot:

  • Flexible Sole: the shoe moves with the foot; walking requires less use of energy and this sole gives a delicate massage to the foot as you walk.
  • Rigid Sole: the foot must bend more as you walk and it requires more energy but the compensation is an intense and vigorous foot massage.

To choose the right one for your foot, ask your local SAKEM salesperson to allow you to try both models

THE EVOLUTION OF FOOTWEAR

A perfect example of how fashion sets aside the most important aspects of hygiene and health, with disastrous consequences to the human body.

These shoes that look more like tools of torture were proposed in an American mail catalogue from 1899

BEFORE LAUGHING, WE SHOULD CONSIDER THAT THEY ARE NOT SO FAR AWAY FROM MANY OF THE MODELS THAT WE STILL USE TODAY.
